About The Position

Aiken Regional Medical Center is hiring a full-time Cardiology Nurse Practitioner to join a well-established in-house service in Aiken, SC. This role offers practice autonomy while working alongside a collaborative care team. The group offers a full range of cardiac, thoracic and vascular services, with all diagnostic services performed in office. This is an employed position with a well-established and busy four-person group. The hospital is a 225-bed acute care hospital and the sole hospital serving Aiken County. The hospital’s medical staff of over 120 physicians covers a broad range of specialties, with more than 85% board certified — many in multiple specialties. Requirements

At least two years’ experience as a Nurse Practitioner with the treatment of Cardiology patients
Comfort with developing protocols and procedures
Ability to work autonomously from the outset

Responsibilities

Provide care for patients with cardiology conditions in acute care and clinic setting.
Provide patient education for clinic and acute care patients, outpatient clinic visits, hospital follow up post procedures.
Perform and bill for all services provided under their own NPI billing number.
