Cardiology Nurse Practitioner
About The Position
Ascension Saint Thomas Heart is looking for a full time Advance Practice Provider to join our team at our clinic in Clarksville, TN. This is an outpatient clinic position where the provider will treat patients in a Cardiac outpatient rural clinic. The role involves working with 3 full time Physicians and one other APP, with additional Cardiology Physicians and an APP rotating through the clinic. The provider will be responsible for taking care of their panel of patients and will have very limited hospital duties, including prior authorizations if needed. The clinic is an established practice featuring a long-standing interventional cardiologist, an invasive non-interventional cardiologist, two advanced practitioners, and access to rotating heart failure and electrophysiology specialists. It is part of Ascension, a national nonprofit Catholic health system, and has an integrated referral network.
Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Master's degree of Nursing
- APP experience is required
