About The Position

As our Cardiology Nurse Practitioner (NP), you will deliver exceptional, patient-centered care within a dynamic outpatient cardiology setting in Grass Valley, CA. You'll be a vital part of a leading multi-specialty group, contributing to clinical excellence and patient outcomes for adult general cardiology patients across the Sacramento region, focusing on cardiovascular health and disease management. Every day you will engage in critical clinical responsibilities including phone triage for urgent patient needs, expert interpretation of EKGs, comprehensive review of heart monitor and pacemaker reports, and conducting essential post-operative follow-ups. You'll work collaboratively with a team of experienced cardiologists and healthcare professionals, leveraging your expertise to inform treatment decisions and provide high-quality, evidence-based care. To be successful in this role, you will possess a strong background as an experienced Nurse Practitioner, ideally with a focus on cardiology or internal medicine, holding current licensure. You'll demonstrate an advanced understanding of cardiovascular diagnostics and treatment, excellent communication skills for patient and team interaction, and a commitment to continuous learning in a fast-paced medical environment.

Requirements

  • A valid and unrestricted license to practice in the State of California
  • Nationally recognized Nurse Practitioner certification (as determined by Medicare)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Cardiology
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Strong background as an experienced Nurse Practitioner, ideally with a focus on cardiology or internal medicine
  • Current licensure
  • Advanced understanding of cardiovascular diagnostics and treatment
  • Commitment to continuous learning in a fast-paced medical environment
