About The Position

Village Heart & Vein is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing cardiology team in Lady Lake, Florida. This fully outpatient role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced cardiologists and established Advanced Practice Providers while caring for patients with a broad range of cardiovascular conditions. The position offers a Monday–Friday clinic schedule with no call, weekends, or major holidays, along with autonomy and support from a collaborative, physician-led team.

Requirements

Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Active Florida license or ability to obtain one before starting
Strong clinical judgment and dedication to patient-centered care
Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Nice To Haves

Prior cardiology APP experience preferred

Responsibilities

Evaluate and manage patients with cardiovascular conditions, including coronary artery disease, heart failure, hypertension, and atrial fibrillation
Provide routine follow-up visits and ongoing management of chronic cardiovascular conditions
Review and interpret EKGs, cardiac testing, imaging, and laboratory results
Manage cardiovascular medications and monitor patients’ responses to treatment
Collaborate with cardiologists to develop individualized treatment plans
Coordinate testing, referrals, and follow-up care
Educate patients about their conditions, medications, and lifestyle changes to support heart health
