About The Position

Capitol Cardiology is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their team, primarily focusing on inpatient care with potential for outpatient responsibilities. This role is based at Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, MD. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 5x8 dayshift, with a weekend rotation. Capitol Cardiology is a well-established private practice and the largest cardiology group in Prince George's County, with six locations near Washington D.C. They are looking to add an additional NP or PA due to high demand. This position offers the opportunity to build a career based on individual interests, with support from the organization, its partners, and experienced staff.

Requirements

• Active nurse practitioner or physician assistant license in the practicing state.
• 2+ years of experience as an NP or PA.
• Inpatient or Cardiology experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient cardiology care.
• Potentially provide outpatient cardiology care.
• Work a Monday-Friday, 5x8 dayshift schedule with a weekend rotation.
• Collaborate with a team of 15 physicians and 10 APPs.
• Utilize ultrasound Echo/Vasc modalities.
• Work with SPECT and Cardiac PET imaging as needed.
