About The Position
This is a Locum Tenens position for a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant specializing in Cardiology. The role involves providing comprehensive Cardiology care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The NP/PA will conduct patient histories, physical exams, formulate diagnosis and treatment plans, perform inpatient rounding, and manage follow-up care for cardiology patients. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, RNs, and support staff, is essential. Accurate and timely documentation in the Epic EMR system is also a key responsibility.
Requirements
- Board Certified (BC)
- Licensed in CA
- DEA required
- BLS, ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years current hospital clinical activity in Cardiology
- Inpatient/rounding experience within the last 2 years required
Nice To Haves
- Epic EMR proficiency preferred
