About The Position

We are hiring a Medical Assistant to support a Busy Specialty Medical Center seeing 120–200 Patients Daily across multiple specialties. This role will support a New Physician Starting In June, with each provider having a dedicated MA. You’ll play a critical role in both Front And Back Office Patient Care Coordination within a fast-paced clinical environment.

Requirements

• Medical Assistant experience (front and/or back office)
• EMR/EHR proficiency
• Patient care and patient intake
• Appointment scheduling
• Rooming patients and checking vitals
• Insurance verification
• Medical terminology

Nice To Haves

• Ambulatory or specialty clinic experience
• Patient education
• Referrals and prior authorizations
• Strong customer service experience

Responsibilities

• Obtain and record patient medical histories, vitals, and test results
• Room patients and prepare examination rooms for visits
• Assist providers during clinical examinations and procedures
• Perform patient intake and update medical charts in the EMR
• Handle appointment scheduling, patient check-in and check-out
• Complete insurance verification, referrals, and authorizations
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient medical records
• Support daily administrative and operational clinic needs
