About The Position

Join a collegial, well-established network of primary care and specialty providers as a full-time Cardiologist with Cardiovascular Associates of Marin. This exciting growth opportunity offers strong clinical, administrative, philanthropic, and marketing support. The role involves managing advanced heart failure patients, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, and amyloid heart disease, as well as seeing general cardiology patients in a blended community-based practice. This is a hybrid position with an approximate split of 30-40% inpatient and 60-70% outpatient. EPIC electronic health record is utilized. The position is based in Marin, offering a desirable, family-friendly community lifestyle.

Requirements

• M.D.
• Board eligible or certified
• Experience in the care of heart failure and treatment of mitral valve disease.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in California
• Excellent communication skills and ability to develop strong relationships with patients.
• Sensitivity to cultural and linguistic differences.
• Practice evidence-based medicine.
• Strong philosophy of excellence in patient care and overall patient experience.

Nice To Haves

• Board certification in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology is not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage advanced heart failure patients.
• Manage hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and amyloid heart disease.
• See general cardiology patients.
• Perform daily inpatient rounding.
• Conduct outpatient follow-up appointments.
