Cardiology Device Registered Nurse (RN), Electrophysiology Clinic
About The Position
The Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center (ASLMC) Electrophysiology Clinic is a premier destination for advanced arrhythmia management and cutting-edge device therapies. Operating within a state-of-the-art facility equipped with dedicated EP laboratories and hybrid procedure suites, our highly collaborative team unites board-certified electrophysiologists, advanced practice providers, fellow device nurses, and dedicated cardiac technicians to deliver seamless, top-tier continuity of care. In this fast-paced, outpatient clinic environment, you will serve as a vital clinical expert, patient educator, and liaison—blending clinical technical mastery with compassionate, patient-centered care to significantly improve outcomes for complex arrhythmia patients across the region.
Requirements
- BSN or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience, with at least one-year current experience in EP/Device clinic or 5+ years of cardiovascular experience.
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Proficient in interpretation of EKG/cardiac rhythms/ arrhythmias
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- CPR certification required upon hire or within 60 days of hire.
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support ) certification
Responsibilities
- Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Use evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
- Collaborate with other health care disciplines in order to provide quality and continuity of care.
