Cardiology Consultant Team, NP/PA-DE and NJ practices
About The Position
ChristianaCare is seeking an innovative Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their Cardiology Consultant Team. This large practice, with over 20 physicians and 16 advanced practice clinicians, provides specialized cardiac care across Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Maryland. This specific role will cover practice locations in Delaware and New Jersey, involving travel to two different sites weekly, with one to two days dedicated to the Woodstown, NJ practice. The position entails providing longitudinal care for existing patients, establishing care for new patients through referrals or post-hospital discharge, monitoring outpatient stress testing, interpreting EKGs, and applying diagnostic studies to patient management. The work schedule is four 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with no weekends, holidays, or on-call duties.
Requirements
- License or license eligible in Delaware and New Jersey as a NP or PA
- Acute Care NP certification is required
- ACLS certification
- Prior cardiology and/or ICU experience required
- At least 1 year of Provider experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide longitudinal care for existing patients of the practice.
- Establish care for new patients through referrals or following hospital discharge.
- Monitor outpatient stress testing.
- Interpret EKGs.
- Apply diagnostic studies to the management of patient care.
