About The Position

Responsible for the pre- and post care of patients undergoing invasive and interventional cardiovascular procedures in the cardiac cath lab and the angiography suite. Other responsibilities include patient and family education and performance improvement initiatives as determined by leadership.

Requirements

• Graduate of a Registered Nurse program
• Current PA RN license
• Healthcare Provider CPR certification
• ACLS certification
• Two years of telemetry, critical care, or emergency room experience.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• High level of confidentiality and discretion.
• Ability to multitask with constant interruptions while maintaining a pleasant demeanor.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor Degree in Nursing
• Competency in managing IABP and ventilators.
• A strong understanding of post-operative care protocols.
