About The Position

The Atria Health Institute is a membership-based primary and specialty healthcare practice focused on prevention and longevity. We are seeking Advanced Care Providers (Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants) to join our expanding Cardiology team. This role involves close collaboration with Chief Medical Officers and a commitment to high-quality, innovative patient care. The position will be based at our Los Angeles Institute, launching in late spring 2026.

Requirements

• Current NYS License required as NP for specialty, or current NYS Licensed PA
• 5+ year’s experience as a practicing NP or PA-C
• BLS & ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Availability to be flexible with weekend coverage
• Thrives in a fast-paced, growing environment
• Experience in Internal Medicine, Primary Care, Urgent Care, and Family Medicine
• Experience in Emergency Medicine (Preferred)

Nice To Haves

• Preferred prior cardiac experience inpatient and/or outpatient

Responsibilities

• Partner with Cardiologists to perform comprehensive health assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests, to identify patients' health status and needs.
• Diagnose acute and chronic cardiac health conditions, formulate differential diagnoses, and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Collaborate with Cardiologists to facilitate appropriate testing.
• Manage chronic conditions, monitor patients' progress, and adjust treatment plans as necessary to optimize health outcomes.
• Complete Prior Authorizations.
• Educate patients and families about health promotion strategies, cardiovascular disease prevention measures, and lifestyle modifications.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including physicians, nurses, care coordination, and other healthcare professionals, to coordinate patient care effectively.
• Perform clinical skills such as phlebotomy, IV insertion, holter placements, ambulatory blood pressure monitors, and EKG.
• Prepare charts for Cardiologists, including patient histories, assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Assist in completing forms for patient care, such as Radiology questionnaires.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, as well as organizational policies and procedures.
• Adhere to ethical principles and professional standards of practice, maintaining confidentiality, integrity, and respect for patients' rights and dignity.
• Comply with legal and regulatory requirements governing nursing practice, licensure, and scope of practice.
