About The Position
Mayo Clinic Health System in La Crosse, WI, is seeking a supplemental Cardiologist to join our growing practice. The candidate will work with a collegial group of 4 other Mayo Cardiologists to provide team-based care for patients in a Mayo Clinic Health System community hospital, which provides a full spectrum of cardiovascular care including interventional cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology procedures. This is an hourly, non-benefit-eligible role.
Requirements
- Board-certified/board-eligible in Cardiology
- Qualify for a WI medical license
Nice To Haves
- Level III training/certification in Echo
- Additional skills in other imaging modalities (e.g. CT angiography, cardiac MRI and nuclear stress testing)
Responsibilities
- Performing TEEs
- Overseeing several NP/PAs
- Seeing patients in a clinic setting
- Inpatient hospital rotation
- Interpreting echos
