About The Position
The Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist is a crucial role at MultiCare, performing diagnostic and therapeutic ultrasound procedures. Ranging from ultrasound exams, therapeutic or interventional Ultrasound procedures, this position requires independent judgment, initiative and ingenuity.
Requirements
- Graduate or graduation eligible within 6 months a formal ultrasound technology training program
- Registered or registry eligible with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or Cardiovasular Credentialing International
- If registry pending, must complete appropriate registration within 12 months from date of employment
- Current BLS required
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as an Ultrasonographer preferred
Responsibilities
- Produce optimum scanning results, using ultrasound as a diagnostic aid and schedule ultrasound appointments
- Perform various duties to include: writing reports, filing, charging and stocking rooms with appropriate products
- Place patient welfare above all other duties while the patient remains in the ultrasound department
