About The Position

To perform cardiac echocardiography procedures of a professional level on all patient population serviced by the hospital.

Requirements

• Registered with THE AMERICAN REGISTRY OF DIAGNOSTIC MEDICAL SONOGRAPHERS, CARDIOVASCULAR CREDIENTING INTERNATIONAL, or eligible for registry.
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)
• BLS-CPR completion
• Basic computer skills.
• Required to comply with OSHA regulations for the N95 respirator training and fit testing

Nice To Haves

• Two years allied health program or two years of college with biological sciences.
• Five years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• To perform cardiac echocardiography procedures of a professional level on all patient population serviced by the hospital.
• Responsible for the safety, mental and physical comfort of the patient.
• Will assist in the planning, directing and coordinating of activities pertaining to the position.
• Performs other technical & clerical duties as delegated by the Cardio Director.
• Performs technical and clerical duties are required to meet Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (ICAL) of Echocardiography requirements for echocardiogram lab accreditation.
