About The Position
Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, conducts various noninvasive cardiovascular diagnostic tests such as computerized 12-lead electrocardiograms (EKG), Holter monitor hook-ups and removal, event monitor application and retrieval of transmission. Acts as primary phlebotomist in the Edward Heart Hospital drawing blood samples and performing finger sticks pro-times.
Requirements
- Six months of cardiology or phlebotomy experience highly preferred
- Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) preferred, must obtain within one year of hire
- CPR certification (BLS issued by the American Heart Association)
- High school diploma
Nice To Haves
- Previous Patient Care Tech (PCT) or Nursing Assistant experience preferred
- ACLS preferred
