About The Position

Mayo Clinic is seeking Cardiac Sonographers to join their growing Echo department in Rochester, Minnesota. This role is part of a large and advanced imaging center where innovation, education, and technology are prioritized. The Cardiac Sonographer will provide care for patients from around the world, performing routine to advanced echocardiographic examinations. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or Associates degree or Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited sonography program. Bachelor's degree preferred.
Graduate from a non-programmatically accredited cardiac ultrasound program with a minimum of one year training in cardiac ultrasound including 800 clinical hours.
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) in Adult Echo required before start of employment.
Minimum of Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification accepted.

Responsibilities

Perform routine to highly advanced echocardiographic examinations.
Integrate innovative imaging modalities.
Function independently with minimal supervision, using sound clinical judgment.
Ensure high-quality, diagnostically accurate studies.
Work closely with Advanced Cardiac Sonographers, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.
Participate in educational opportunities offered throughout the year.
Collaborate with leaders who prioritize communication, professional development, retention, and teamwork.
