About The Position

Our Client is seeking an experienced Cardiac Sonographer / Echo Technologist to support cardiac diagnostic services in a hospital cardiology environment. This role will be responsible for performing cardiac echocardiography studies, providing diagnostic cardiac ultrasound support, and maintaining high standards of quality, patient safety, and clinical care.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience in Cardiac Sonography/Echocardiography.
Current BLS certification.
Appropriate echocardiography credential, including one of the following: RDCS through ARDMS, RCS or RCCS through CCI, ACS through CCI.
Additional vascular credential, including one of the following: RVT through ARDMS, RVS through CCI, RS through ARRT.
Prior travel assignment experience.
Ability to work the required variable 10-hour day schedule.
Strong technical, communication, and patient-care skills.
Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the assignment location.
Candidates must be available for the full 13-week assignment.

Responsibilities

Perform cardiac echocardiography studies within the scope of the assigned role.
Provide diagnostic cardiac ultrasound support in a hospital cardiology environment.
Obtain and evaluate appropriate cardiac ultrasound images according to established clinical and departmental procedures.
Work independently while maintaining quality standards and patient-focused care.
Follow applicable imaging, patient-safety, infection-control, and departmental procedures.
Collaborate effectively with cardiology, imaging, and other healthcare team members as needed.
