Cardiac Sonographer, Per Diem
About The Position
In accordance with departmental standards of practice, the Cardiac Sonographer assumes responsibility for performing all non-invasive diagnostic cardiac sonography ordered by physicians to ensure quality patient care and treatment. PIH Health is a nonprofit regional healthcare network serving approximately 3 million residents in Los Angeles County, Orange County, and the San Gabriel Valley. Requirements
- Successfully pass Safety, Cultural Sensitivity, and Blood Pathogen classes.
- BCLS certification.
- Sonographer training or certification.
Responsibilities
- Perform non-invasive diagnostic cardiac sonography ordered by physicians in accordance with departmental standards of practice.
- Help ensure quality patient care and treatment.
