About The Position

Cooley Dickinson Hospital is seeking an experienced Cardiac Sonographer to operate diagnostic ultrasound equipment. The role involves scanning patients in all aspects of cardiac scanning, including M-Mode, 2-D, color, Doppler, exercise testing, and TEE. This position reports to the Supervisor Cardiac Sonographer and operates within established organizational and departmental policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Associates degree in radiology or equivalent certification required
• RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) required
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification required
• At least 5 years of experience as a Cardiac Sonographer
• Proficiency with Philips equipment
• Knowledge of TEE, TTE, and Stress echo
• Experience with Lumason imaging agent and bubble studies

Nice To Haves

• Knowing Epic
• Ability to start IVs
• One (1) to three (3) years experience as an Ultrasound Technician
