About The Position
This part-time position operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices. The role involves providing patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment, demonstrating knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology, and providing patient care to all age groups including neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Effective communication with staff and radiologists is essential.
Requirements
- Graduate of an AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program
- 1 year of related experience as a hospital inpatient or outpatient / ambulatory cardiac sonographer
- BCLS - Basic Life Support Required
- RCS - Registered Cardiac Sonographer Required or ARDCS - Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Required or CCI - Cardiovascular Credentialing International Required
