About The Position

Seeking an Exercise Physiologist to serve as a cardiac rehabilitation specialist at Saint Mary's Hospital in Detroit Lakes. This is a part-time position, scheduled for 16 hours per week, with the potential to pick up more hours. The role involves assisting with cardiac stress testing and potentially supporting other area clinics. Requirements

• Completion of an exercise physiology program.
• BLS certification within 1 month of hire.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• ACSM Certification at the exercise specialist level within 12 months of employment OR a current RN license in MN with Cardiac Rehabilitation certification within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the evaluation and treatment of patients ages 13 years old and older referred to the Cardiac Rehabilitation Programs, and other programs associated with the Cardiac Rehabilitation Services.
• Involved in the ongoing development of these programs.
• Conduct Stress Tests
