About The Position

Saint Alphonsus Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to join their Cardiac Rehab team. This position is located on their Nampa Campus and operates Monday through Friday with no weekends or holidays. Requirements

Idaho or multistate RN license (must establish Idaho residency within 6 months if applicable).
Oregon license must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
BLS certification required at date of hire.
ACLS required within 6 months.

Nice To Haves

Five years of nursing experience preferred
Prior inpatient cardiac experience highly preferred

Responsibilities

Support secondary prevention and recovery for patients following cardiac and pulmonary events in a fast-paced, outpatient setting.
Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to guide patients through a structured 36-visit rehabilitation program.
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments.
Review health histories to determine appropriate starting points.
Monitor patient progress over time.
Interpret telemetry and EKG data.
Lead patient education initiatives.
Develop and manage individualized treatment plans.
Complete documentation and charging.
Support patients as they enter and graduate from the program.
