About The Position

The Cardiac Technician for the Clinical Operations team is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care through accurate ECG analysis in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. As a new hire, you will attend and complete our iRhythm University Training Program. This is a comprehensive clinical training experience to become a Cardiac Technician for one of our Product Service Lines.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of hands-on cardiac rhythm interpretation experience in a clinical, diagnostic, monitoring, or telemetry environment.
Demonstrated ability to accurately interpret ECG/EKG rhythms, identify common arrhythmias, and recognize clinically significant cardiac events.
Experience as a Cardiac Monitor Technician, Telemetry Technician, Holter Scanner, ECG Technician, Cardiac Technician, or equivalent role involving cardiac rhythm analysis.
Knowledge of cardiac anatomy, electrophysiology, and medical terminology.
Experience working within quality, accuracy, and productivity standards in a healthcare environment.
Strong computer navigation skills and ability to work effectively within multiple software applications.
Candidates without RN, EMT-P, or CCT must receive CCT certification within 120 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

Certification such as RN, EMT-P, CCT, CRAT, or EKG Certification.
Associate degree or coursework in cardiovascular technology, healthcare, life sciences, or a related field preferred.
Experience in remote cardiac monitoring, ambulatory cardiac monitoring, Holter monitoring, or telemetry services.

Responsibilities

Review patient ECG data and algorithm findings for clinical accuracy, ensuring 100% data quality.
Effectively communicate ECG abnormalities to physicians as needed.
Perform quality assurance for every report, making necessary modifications before final delivery.
Continuously develop ECG interpretation skills, meeting productivity and quality metrics.
Maintain compliance with HIPAA guidelines and best clinical practices.
