About The Position

Join the Cleveland Clinic team, where you will work alongside passionate caregivers and provide patient-first healthcare. Cleveland Clinic is recognized as one of the top hospitals in the nation. At Cleveland Clinic, you will work alongside passionate and dedicated caregivers, receive endless support and appreciation, and build a rewarding career with one of the most respected healthcare organizations in the world. The Central Monitor Technician (CMT) is responsible for monitoring telemetry devices for patients across the Cleveland Clinic enterprise, both locally and nationally. The CMT plays a critical role in ensuring timely alerts to the nursing unit when alarms are triggered on patient telemetry monitors. While alarms are also audible at the nurses' stations, the primary responsibility of the CMT is to promptly notify the care team on the patient’s designated floor. Once the initial alert has been communicated, the CMT’s involvement concludes unless the alarm is triggered again.
