About The Position
The Cardiac Monitor Tech St Peter's Hospital will be working in our newly developed Heart Central. They will perform a variety of duties involving the monitoring of our patient's cardiac statuses and maintaining cardiac monitoring equipment. They are responsible for identifying and interpreting all rhythm patterns, documenting, recording and reporting abnormal vital signs to RN. Good communication skills needed to maintain open lines of communication with Nursing units throughout the hospital.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Completion of Telemetry Training
- Current BLS certification
- Patient care experience
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of duties involving the monitoring of our patient's cardiac statuses and maintaining cardiac monitoring equipment.
- Identify and interpret all rhythm patterns.
- Document, record and report abnormal vital signs to RN.
- Maintain open lines of communication with Nursing units throughout the hospital.
