About The Position
The Monitor Technician is responsible for the ongoing surveillance of patient cardiac monitors/remote telemetry and provides RNs and/or clinicians with immediate notification of any changes in cardiac rhythms.
Requirements
- One (1) year of experience as a Monitor Technician
- Successful completion of a basic arrhythmia course or equivalent coursework
- Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support
- Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units
Nice To Haves
- Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician (CRAT) Certification through CCI
