About The Position
This role involves providing direct patient care and technical support within the Cardiac Electrophysiology lab. The technologist will be responsible for assisting physicians during diagnostic and interventional EP procedures, operating specialized equipment, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent Cardiac Electrophysiology Technologist experience.
- Current AHA BLS Certification.
- Current AHA ACLS Certification.
- Current RCIS (CVT) Certification.
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
- Availability to work two major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day).
- Availability to work one minor holiday (The Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve).
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during cardiac electrophysiology procedures.
- Operate and maintain EP lab equipment.
- Monitor patient vital signs and provide appropriate care.
- Prepare patients for procedures and provide post-procedure care instructions.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and infection control standards.
- Document patient information and procedure details accurately.
