About The Position

Baptist Medical Center is excited to welcome a Cardiac Echo Sonographer to join our Diagnostic Cardiology Department at Baptist Beaches in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. This is a PRN, various shifts position. As a Cardiac Echo Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic examinations of the heart using advanced ultrasound techniques, ensuring accurate imaging and reporting. You will collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare providers to support patient care and treatment decisions. Additionally, you will provide cross-coverage and as-needed back-up support to other non-invasive areas of the Cardiac Department to maintain seamless operations. You will deliver compassionate patient care by preparing and educating patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the process. Finally, you will maintain equipment, document procedures accurately, and adhere to department protocols and quality standards.

Requirements

• 1-2 Years of Cardiac Sonographer Experience
• Adult Echo credentials through either ARDMS or CCI are required within 18 months of hire.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with patients, families, and clinical teams.
