About The Position
Sentara Cardiology Specialists Port Warwick is seeking a Cardiac Device Tech in Newport News, Va! This role involves monitoring, testing, and recording transmission results from trans telephonic, cardio voice and rhythm strips for cardiac device patients. The Cardiac Device Tech will also conduct pacemaker education to a broad-based population and troubleshoot abnormal test results, elevating them to the appropriate provider/physician.
Requirements
- HS Diploma Required
- 2 years of pacemaker management experience required.
- 3 years of non-invasive cardiology experience required.
Responsibilities
- Monitors, tests, and records transmission results from trans telephonic, cardio voice and rhythm strips for cardiac device patients.
- Conducts pacemaker education to broad based population.
- Troubleshoots abnormal test results and elevates to appropriate provider/physician.
