National Jewish Health is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Cardiac Device Specialist to join the Cardiology team. This role offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of cardiac rhythm management, serving as a clinical expert in the interrogation, analysis and programming of pacemakers, implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs) and other cardiac devices. As part of a growing cardiology program, the Cardiac Device Specialist plays a vital role in delivering advanced electrophysiology and cardiac rhythm management services. This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge device technology, develop specialized expertise and make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients with complex cardiac conditions. Position Summary Responsible and accountable for accurate and timely cardiac rhythm device interrogation and re-programming, including device analysis, preliminary report generation, alerting providers to urgent issues, and maintaining an accurate patient tracking system. This position practices within the standards set by the Heart Rhythm Society (HRS) and the American College of Cardiology (ACC). This position works within interdisciplinary teams to provide safe and personalized care for the patient.
