Cardiac Catheterization Technologist
About The Position
This position will be also be working with the Electrophysiologist Team. Assists physicians with performance of invasive cardiac procedures, serving as a radiologic technologist and/or scrub assistant, performing hemodynamic monitoring and procedural charting. Assists in the care, transportation and preparation of patients.
Requirements
- High School diploma or G.E.D. required.
- Knowledge of diagnostic radiology principles and procedures as acquired through completion of 2 years training in an approved school of radiologic technology required.
- General computer knowledge.
- Licensed in Radiology by the State of Illinois Division of Nuclear Safety (IEMA)
- Requires Registry from ARRT
- CPR certification required.
Nice To Haves
- Successful completion of EKG arrhythmia course preferred.
- Successful completion of ACLS preferred.
Responsibilities
