Per Diem Cardiac Cath Tech - Per diem
About The Position
Responsible for performing routine radiographic exams in either an inpatient and/or outpatient setting in accordance with established protocols for positioning, image quality, and radiation safety. The inpatient setting may also include assignment to specialty areas requiring a radiologic technologist, such as the ED, OR, or Fluoroscopy. Utilizes a variety of specialized equipment to produce radiographic and fluoroscopic images, as well as computers and various software programs to enter patient related information into hospital databases. Contributes to the overall excellence of the department through commitment to personal excellence in technical and interpersonal skills.
Requirements
- Proficiency in performing routine radiographic exams.
- Knowledge of established protocols for positioning, image quality, and radiation safety.
- Ability to utilize specialized equipment for radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging.
- Computer and software skills for patient data entry.
