Nemours is seeking an Experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in Cardiovascular Catheterization Laboratory in Wilmington, DE. This is a casual position. Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in Pediatrics, Cath Lab and EP procedures
• An American Heart Association BLS and PALS

Nice To Haves

• ACLS preferred

Responsibilities

• Operates sophisticated equipment and provides patient care during Catheterization procedures.
• Assists the physicians in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization, diagnostic and therapeutic electrophysiology studies and interpreting hemodynamic waveforms and electrocardiographic tracings.
• Assist cardiologists in device implantation procedures and surgeons in completion of surgical procedures in the Cath Lab.
• Assists in the operation and maintenance of fluoroscopic, digital image recording and electrophysiologic equipment.
• Assists in the development of policies and procedures.
• Collects data for quality control programs.
• Assists with inventory controls and maintenance of computer reports.
• Patient care is individualized to the age/developmental, psycho-social-cultural patient need.
