About The Position

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist with Electrophysiology (EP) Study and Radiofrequency (RF) Ablation Skills for a 13-week travel assignment in Sun City, AZ. This role involves performing technical imaging procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab room under the direction of the CEO and Director of Nursing. The technologist will be responsible for scrubbing and panning cardiovascular arterial & venous studies, including vascular angiography, angioplasty, arteriography, electrophysiology, hemodynamic measurements, and PPM/AICD insertion and replacements. Key responsibilities include managing inventory, monitoring per-case expenses, ensuring compliance with regulations, maintaining and troubleshooting equipment, and understanding radiation safety principles. The role also emphasizes teamwork, customer service using the AIDET model, and adherence to policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of Cath Lab experience
  • Scrubbing High Tech Cardio cases and Mobile C-Arm Capabilities required.
  • Must meet state licensure requirements appropriate to certification and job function (e.g., Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist license and Fluoroscopy permit if ARRT certified)
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technologist Program or Radiologic Technologist Program
  • Must hold one of the following certifications: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), or Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES)
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability
  • Must pass a drug screen and background check
  • Complete additional facility onboarding forms as assigned

Responsibilities

  • Manage ordering of inventory and supply chain under facility PAR level
  • Monitor per case expense and offer cost saving ideas
  • Maintain the department in compliance with rules and regulations set forth by governing & accreditation agencies
  • Maintain and trouble shoot fluoroscopy and ultrasound equipment
  • Recognize overexposure of radiation and verbalize basic principles of radiation physics, biology, and radiation safety necessary to keep levels to the patient and staff at a minimal level.
  • Follow “AIDET” (Acknowledge, Introduce, Duration, Explanation, and Thank You) as a team member
  • Accept reassignments and additional duties, when necessary, in a flexible and positive manner
  • Maintain an environment of cohesiveness and teamwork
  • May be asked for radiation safety input to maintain Joint Commission accreditation.
