About The Position

The Cardiac Cath Lab Tech, Registered, Fulltime position at St Mary’s Hospital in Athens, GA involves the day-to-day clinical aspects of the Cardiac Cath Lab. The role ensures that all studies are performed and recorded in a safe, concise, and professional manner, adhering to departmental policies and procedures and nationally published standards. The position requires a schedule of 4 10-hour shifts with call required.

Requirements

• Must be Registered Cardiovascular Tech, RRT or Paramedic to be eligible for the position.
• BLS and ACLS certified, thru American Heart Association (only)
• Successful completion of an approved cardiovascular program, or Respiratory program or Paramedic program.
• Must have Cath lab Tech experience to be considered for this position.

Nice To Haves

• RCIS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the day-to-day clinical aspects of the Cardiac Cath Lab.
• Ensures that all studies are performed and recorded in a safe, concise and professional manner in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
• Responsible for assuring procedural compliance with all nationally published standards.
