About The Position

Join the team as a day-shift, full-time Cardiac Cath Lab Tech in Tyler, Texas. The position performs diagnostic, interventional, and/or therapeutic procedures for patients of all ages while following established policies and procedures to ensure accurate and complete examinations or treatment. The role coordinates and documents patient care with radiologists, nursing personnel, and other department areas, and participates in performance improvement data collection to support consistent quality standards.

UT Health Tyler is the system’s flagship hospital, serving hundreds of thousands of people annually. It is an advanced acute care hospital with a Level I trauma center, a comprehensive stroke center, the region’s only EMCO program, and a Level III NICU. Its medical staff includes more than 500 physicians and a full complement of subspecialty groups.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Graduation from an approved Radiologic Technology school.
• ARRT or RCIS/RCES credential.
• Licensure with the Texas Department of Health according to regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic, interventional, and/or therapeutic procedures for patients of all ages in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Organize and document assigned patient care in coordination with radiologists, nursing personnel, and other department areas to ensure accurate and timely radiology procedures.
• Participate in performance improvement activities, including collecting data, to help ensure quality meets established standards.
