About The Position

Responsible for diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures including cardiac stent placement, left and right heart catheterizations, PCI, ASD closures, Impella, IABP, valvuloplasty, ventricular assist devices, pacemaker insertion, procedural sedation, dysrhythmia management, vascular closure systems, ACT monitoring, sheath removal, and pulmonary artery/Swan Ganz monitoring. This role operates in a dual CV/IR lab environment and has extensive call coverage requirements.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab.
• Proficiency in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
• Ability to manage extensive call coverage.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
• Assist with cardiac stent placement.
• Conduct left and right heart catheterizations.
• Perform Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI).
• Assist with ASD closures.
• Manage Impella devices.
• Operate Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumps (IABP).
• Perform valvuloplasty procedures.
• Manage ventricular assist devices.
• Assist with pacemaker insertion.
• Administer procedural sedation.
• Manage dysrhythmias.
• Utilize vascular closure systems.
• Monitor Activated Clotting Time (ACT).
• Perform sheath removal.
• Monitor pulmonary artery and Swan Ganz.
• Provide extensive call coverage.
