About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Clinical Nurse II A to join our Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory team. The ideal candidate will provide expert nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and comfort. This is a full-time position within a fast-paced, technologically advanced cardiac catheterization laboratory. The role requires the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining focus on patient-centered care. Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required.
  • Minimum of 2 years clinical nursing experience, preferably in cardiac or critical care settings.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and catheterization procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a cardiac catheterization lab or similar environment is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Assist cardiologists during cardiac catheterization procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements.
  • Monitor patients’ vital signs and cardiac status before, during, and after procedures.
  • Prepare and maintain the catheterization lab, ensuring all equipment and supplies are sterile and ready for use.
  • Administer medications and intravenous fluids as prescribed.
  • Educate patients and their families about procedures, post-procedure care, and recovery expectations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies and provide advanced cardiac life support as needed.
  • Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization procedures, including assessment and education.
  • Maintain sterile technique and ensure a safe, clean environment in the cath lab.
  • Document patient care accurately and timely in compliance with hospital policies.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
