About The Position

This role involves assisting in the organization and scheduling of the cardiac cath lab, overseeing the day-to-day clinical aspects, and communicating with Cardiologists regarding patient care. The position also includes participating in and developing performance improvement measures, assisting in departmental budget planning, and being responsible for financial accountability. Additionally, the role coordinates educational classes to meet staff competency requirements.

Requirements

• RN (Registered Nurse), RT (Radiologic Technologist) or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) is required.
• Current BLS and ACLS through American Heart Association is required.
• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program, Radiology Program or Cardiovascular Program required.
• Minimum of five years in Cardiac Cath Lab required.
• Excellent clinical knowledge and skills.

Nice To Haves

• Two years in a Leadership/Management role preferred.

Responsibilities
