CARDIAC CATH/CATH LAB TECHNICIAN (PER DIEM VARIED)
About The Position
West Henderson Hospital, part of The Valley Health System, is a 150-bed acute care hospital located near the Las Vegas Raiders' headquarters. It offers a variety of medical services including emergency care, cardiac care, neurology care, surgery, gastroenterology, advanced imaging, laboratory services, respiratory services, and inpatient nursing. The hospital is equipped with advanced cardiac services, including cardiac catheterization labs, and an interventional radiology lab. This position assists Cardiologists in performing diagnostic and interventional procedures.
Requirements
- Graduate from an approved school in Radiologic Technology or other related Bachelor's degree is required.
- Current ARRT Licensure.
- Non-Radiologic Technologist must have active certification with Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) as an (RCIS) Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist or (RCES) Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist.
- Has or will obtain Nevada State fluorography license.
- Current BCLS certification.
Nice To Haves
- A minimum of two years prior Cath Lab and/or Radiographer experience preferred.
- ACLS certification is preferred.
- Current certification in Interventional Angiography preferred.
