About The Position

We are seeking a Cardiac Anesthesiologist for a Locum Tenens position at a Level I Trauma Hospital in York, PA. The role involves providing anesthesia care for cardiac, trauma, and diverse surgical cases for all ages. This is a clinical position with on-call responsibilities, including night beeper call approximately 3 shifts per week. The coverage period is from November 14, 2026, ongoing. The facility utilizes the Epic EMR system. Hospital privileges are required, with temporary privileges potentially available.

Requirements

• Active PA license or Universal License (IMLC)
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification

Nice To Haves

• 2 years of experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for cardiac and other surgical cases.
• Manage patient anesthesia during procedures.
• Participate in on-call coverage for night beeper call.
• Collaborate with surgeons and specialty clinicians.
• Ensure patient safety and high-quality care.
