About The Position

Murdock Hyundai is seeking a reliable and attentive Car Wash Technician to join our team at our Lindon location. This position focuses on operating and overseeing our automatic car wash during the night/closing shift, ensuring customers have a smooth, safe, and positive experience.

Requirements

• Strong customer service skills and a friendly attitude
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Comfortable working evenings and weekends
• Ability to stay attentive and safety-focused in a fast-paced environment
• Able to stand for extended periods and work in outdoor conditions

Responsibilities

• Guide customers safely into the automatic car wash system
• Operate and monitor car wash equipment to ensure proper function
• Provide clear instructions and friendly customer service
• Perform light pre-wash prep (e.g., rinsing or prepping vehicles if needed)
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the car wash area
• Assist with nightly closing duties to prepare the facility for the next day
• Identify and report any equipment issues or safety concerns
