About The Position
Golden Nozzle Car Wash is seeking a hands-on, motivated Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of our high-volume car wash facility. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys developing team members, and is passionate about operational excellence and outstanding customer service. As Assistant Manager, you will work closely with the Site Manager to help maximize site performance, support team development, and ensure every customer leaves with great experience.

- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to work up to 50 hours per week, with additional hours as business needs require
- Flexible availability to cover shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed
- Required to work at least one weekend day
- Open availability based on the operational needs of Golden Nozzle
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Nice To Haves
- Supervisory or leadership experience preferred (car wash, automotive, retail, or service industry a plus)
- Ability to motivate, coach, and support a high-performing team
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
- Customer-first mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service
- Basic knowledge of car wash equipment, maintenance practices, and safety standards is a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic operational software systems
Responsibilities
- Support the Team
- Drive Daily Operations
- Deliver an Exceptional Customer Experience
- Assist in supervising daily site operations including staffing support, scheduling assistance, coaching, and performance feedback
- Help ensure the facility, equipment, and grounds are clean, safe, and fully operational at all times
- Support efforts to optimize workflow and vehicle throughput to minimize wait times and enhance the customer experience
- Provide best-in-class customer service by addressing inquiries, feedback, and concerns promptly and professionally
- Assist with executing sales initiatives and membership growth strategies to drive revenue and customer retention
- Help monitor inventory levels and coordinate ordering and restocking of chemicals, parts, and operational supplies
- Enforce company safety procedures and regulatory compliance standards
- Support review of operational reports, KPIs, and performance metrics to improve site performance
- Partner with the Site Manager to execute site-specific goals and business initiatives
- Help resolve employee and customer concerns to maintain a positive, productive environment
- Lead shifts and oversee operations in the Site Manager’s absence when needed
