About The Position

This role involves performing maintenance on Holiday owned carwashes and related equipment of all makes and models. The technician will analyze electronic and mechanical problems, complete repairs, and communicate technical issues to non-technical individuals. Maintaining company assets, including service vehicles, tools, and equipment, is also a key responsibility. The position requires carrying a pager and being available for emergencies, with work hours varying based on business needs and seasons, potentially including evenings and weekends. Accurate completion of company forms and reports, including logs of daily work and store visits, is necessary. Technicians may be dispatched or routed via car wash dispatcher, Work Oasis, or the help desk, and will communicate with stores, supervisors, helpdesk personnel, and outside vendors as needed. Other duties may be requested by supervisors.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Technical school education preferred, but not required.
  • Basic knowledge of electro-mechanical equipment.
  • Excellent mechanical background a must.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to perform work with minimal or no supervision or assistance.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of equipment maintenance and OSHA regulations.
  • Good mechanical abilities and a good understanding of mechanical systems.
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams and troubleshoot electrical issues using a Volt/Ohm meter.
  • Excellent communication skills required.
  • Clean driving record.
  • 2-4 years in maintenance with equipment maintenance preferred.
  • Ability to interface between equipment and computer programs.
