About The Position

The Car Wash Attendant is responsible for providing excellent customer service by greeting customers, explaining wash options, and assisting them at pay stations. This role involves guiding vehicles into the wash tunnel and maintaining the cleanliness and condition of the car wash facility through tasks like garbage removal, sweeping, and pressure washing. The position also requires fielding customer inquiries and performing other assigned duties. The job breakdown is approximately 70% customer interaction, 20% site upkeep, 5% opening/closing procedures, and 5% basic troubleshooting.

Requirements

Excellent communication skills including active listening.
Excellent sales and customer service skills.
Ability to anticipate customer needs.
Ability to recommend different wash memberships to customers.
Ability to work as a team.
Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn a point of sales system.
Strong work ethic and professional attitude.

Responsibilities

Responsible for greeting customers, answering questions, and explaining the wash options available.
Stand at the pay stations and assist every customer that comes through the wash.
Field customer inquiries.
Guide customer vehicles into the wash tunnel.
Upkeep the condition of the car wash by performing cleaning tasks such as taking out the garbage, sweeping the lot, and using a pressure washer to clean the wash bay.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Reports to work on time and follows the dress and appearance code.
