About The Position

The Car Wash Attendant greets customers, answers questions, explains available wash options, and assists customers at the pay stations. The role includes guiding vehicles into the wash tunnel, responding to customer inquiries, and maintaining the car wash site through cleaning and upkeep tasks. Duties also include opening and closing procedures, basic troubleshooting, and other responsibilities as assigned. The team member is expected to arrive on time, follow the dress and appearance code, and work with minimal supervision. This position is part-time and works in a typical outdoor car wash environment in Groveport, Ohio. Employees must follow standard operating procedures and OSHA safety guidelines and wear required personal protective equipment. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including hearing, eye, foot, and hand protection.
Ability to stand and walk throughout the workday; use hands and reach with hands and arms; and climb or balance, stop, crouch, and kneel.
Ability to work in damp and humid conditions and variable outdoor weather.
Ability to regularly lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Maintain the car wash site by taking out garbage, sweeping the lot, and using a pressure washer to clean the wash bay.
Perform opening and closing procedures and basic or light troubleshooting.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Report to work on time and follow the dress and appearance code.
