About The Position

The Car Wash Attendant is responsible for greeting customers, answering questions, and explaining the wash options available. They will stand at the pay stations to assist every customer, field customer inquiries, and guide customer vehicles into the wash tunnel. This role also involves maintaining the condition of the car wash by performing cleaning tasks such as taking out the garbage, sweeping the lot, and using a pressure washer to clean the wash bay. The attendant must report to work on time and follow the dress and appearance code. Duties are broken down as follows: 70% Customer Interaction, 20% Site Upkeep (Cleaning/Maintaining), 5% Opening/Closing Procedures, and 5% Basic/Light Troubleshooting of Daily Duties.

Requirements

• Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn a point of sales system.

• Ability to work in damp and humid conditions.
• Ability to work in outdoor variable weather conditions.
• Ability to lift and/or move objects up to 25lbs on a regular basis and occasionally up to 50lbs.
• Adherence to OSHA safety guidelines and protocols, including wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as hearing, eye, foot, and hand protection.
