About The Position

The Car Wash Attendant is responsible for greeting customers, answering questions, and explaining the wash options available. This role involves standing at pay stations to assist customers, guiding vehicles into the wash tunnel, and performing cleaning tasks to maintain the car wash's condition. The attendant must report to work on time and adhere to the dress and appearance code. The job involves approximately 70% customer interaction, 20% site upkeep, 5% opening/closing procedures, and 5% basic troubleshooting.

• Ability to work in outdoor variable weather conditions.
• Ability to lift and/or move objects up to 25lbs on a regular basis and occasionally up to 50lbs.
• Ability to work safely in a typical outdoor car wash environment.
• Ability to adhere to OSHA safety guidelines and protocols, including wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as hearing, eye, foot, and hand protection.
• Capability to perform responsibilities with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Greeting customers, answering questions, and explaining wash options.
• Assisting customers at the pay stations.
• Fielding customer inquiries.
• Guiding customer vehicles into the wash tunnel.
• Performing cleaning tasks such as taking out garbage, sweeping the lot, and using a pressure washer to clean the wash bay.
• Performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Reporting to work on time and following the dress and appearance code.
