Car Wash Attendant
About The Position
The Car Wash Attendant is responsible for greeting customers, answering questions, and explaining the wash options available. This role involves standing at pay stations to assist customers, guiding vehicles into the wash tunnel, and maintaining the cleanliness and condition of the car wash facility. The attendant will perform cleaning tasks such as garbage removal, lot sweeping, and pressure washing the wash bay. Additionally, the role requires reporting to work on time, adhering to the dress code, and performing other assigned duties. A significant portion of the role involves customer interaction (70%) and site upkeep (20%), with smaller percentages dedicated to opening/closing procedures and basic troubleshooting.
Requirements

- Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn a point of sales system.

- Ability to climb or balance; stop, crouch and kneel.
- Ability to work in damp and humid conditions.
- Ability to work in outdoor variable weather conditions.
- Ability to lift and/or move objects up to 25lbs on a regular basis and occasionally up to 50lbs.
- Ability to work safely in a moderate to excessively loud noise environment, requiring hearing protection and other PPE.
- Adherence to OSHA safety guidelines and protocols, including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Capability to perform responsibilities with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities
- Greeting customers, answering questions, and explaining wash options.
- Assisting every customer at the pay stations.
- Fielding customer inquiries.
- Guiding customer vehicles into the wash tunnel.
- Upkeeping the condition of the car wash by performing cleaning tasks such as taking out the garbage, sweeping the lot, and using a pressure washer to clean the wash bay.
- Performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Reporting to work on time and following the dress and appearance code.
